Windows XP Office: Word 2007 pdf995 software HP 2200d laserjet printer I've been converting Word files that contain text boxes to pdfs successfully for several years. Since two days ago when I attempted to do this, anything in text boxes does not show up on the pdf. I have contacted the software tech person who, after having me try several things, says the problem is with Word, not with the pdf software. Here are my steps to create a pdf: • Create a Word document • Go to Print • Select pdf995 from list of printers • Save file • Pdf then shows up on screen Everything shows up except anything that's in a text box. (The text inside the text box will not rotate if you are using Word 2007 or earlier (for Windows), or Word 2008 or lower (for Mac)). If the text is inside of an autoshape, you will be able to rotate the autoshape using the same rotation handle, but again the text inside will not rotate if you are using Word 2007 or earlier (for Windows), or Word 2008 or earlier (for Mac). So for Word, pages do not exist until you tell Word you want to print. At that point, Word reorganizes the information in the mailboxes—or in other words, calls up the printer driver and uses the information it gets from the printer driver in order to decide how the contents of each mailbox will be placed on the paper page. The outline for the text boxes does not show up either. Also, almost every Word doc I open now is in the compatibility mode even if I created it with Word 2007. I also use a crossword creator software and place the puzzles in text boxes and the clues in separate text boxes. I do not place the puzzle grid answer key in a text box and it shows up fine in the pdf, so I can't think it's the crossword creator software. This is the error message I get every time I try to convert: This action cannot be completed because the other program is busy. Text Will Not Print In Word DocumentClick on 'switch to activate the busy program and correct the problem. Cannot Print From Word![]() I'm working with a document with pictures. Unfortunately I did not create the original document, so I don't know how the text box was set up. I know a text box exists in the document, but after resizing pictures and moving them around the text box disappeared. When I print the document the text box is not there (doesn't print). The only way I've been able to see the text box after making the necessary changes to the pictures is to go into the 'Reading Layout.' Why Does My Background Not Print In WordI like to operate primarily in the 'Print Layout,' but when I am in this layout I cannot see the text box at all. I am using Word 03. I've changed the layout of the pictures to 'Behind Text' but I still cannot view the text box. Header Does Not Print In Word DocumentGraham Mayor 5/3/2009, 2:31 น. For more recent versions of Word for Mac (e.g. I have Word 2011 for Mac) these settings can be found by doing the following: Go to the toolbar at the very top of the screen: Choose 'Word' (between the Apple icon and 'File') > Preferences > Print (under 'Output and Sharing) > place a check next to Drawing objects (under 'Include with document') and a check next to 'Print background colors and images' and then hit OK. This did not completely solve the problem for me. BUT I did a Save As. And saved the document as a PDF. The text boxes then appeared in the PDF document. I can now print the PDF document with the text boxes (the docx version still does not want to print the text boxes though). [email protected] 8/6/2016, 12:57 น.
